Kat Von D Debuts 10th Anniversary Vegan Beauty Line

Kat Von D Beauty is marking its 10th anniversary with the debut of a golden-hued vegan collection of products for eyes, lips, and face. The collection—which was released May 5th online and quickly sold out—is now available at Sephora stores nationwide. Von D created the limited-edition line as a tribute to her muses, which include her mother and her partner Leafar Seyer (born Rafael Reyes). “I wanted to tell the story of Kat Von D Beauty through 10 of my modern-day muses,” Von D said. “These 10 muses have blessed me with so much inspiration, not just with their surface beauty, but for what they contribute to the world through their art.” The names of all the muses are on the collection’s eyeshadow palette, which also features original artwork by Von D. The complete line of products includes: Tattoo Liner in Trooper Black ($20), Studded Kiss Crème Lipstick in Sante Sangre ($19), Everlasting Glimmer Veil in Gold Skool ($22), Metal Crush Highlighter in Gold Skool ($30), Eyeshadow Palette ($52), Makeup Brush Collection ($125), Train Case ($150), and an autographed set ($348), which includes the entire 10th anniversary collection. Von D, who is pregnant with her first child, recently announced plans to raise her baby vegan, and will soon wed Seyer in a vegan celebration with a focus on fundraising for animal-rights organization Animal Equality.
