Vegan Banana Oat Waffles With Maple Syrup

Made with oats, bananas, and maple syrup, these easy-to-prepare waffles will quickly become a breakfast favorite.

These waffles redefine breakfast indulgence, blending the natural sweetness of ripe bananas with the nourishing goodness of oats. 

What you need:

1 cup flour
1 cup oat bran flour
¼ cup quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
Vegan substitute for 2 eggs
1¼ cups vegan milk
2 tablespoons vegan butter, melted
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 ripe banana, mashed

What you do:

  1. Preheat a waffle iron. In a large bowl, mix flours, oats, and baking powder.
  2. In a medium-size bowl, mix egg substitute, milk, butter, and maple syrup. Add banana and mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add wet mixture to dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Into center of heated waffle iron, pour about ½ cup of batter and cook until done. Serve with maple syrup and sliced bananas, if desired.
